Hi we'd like to update this group. Our question to you is what would you like to see from us? Originally this group was created for short manga contest for both writers and artist partners to join. Also artist could participate in the challenges by themself.

It was to be a big happy learning experience. Also one of our goals was to prove that a mainstream manga could be produced through this process. But we would like your take on things. So the floor is open please feel free to leave comments.

Also we are seeking staff to help with this group. It's basically just down to one person now the founder :iconkenshinro7:. So any help is great just send us a message here if you are interested in being on our team. We look forward to viewing your comments.

Thanks so much!
Heading into the new year we want your ideas on how to improve this group. Please share your thoughts in the comment section. Thanks from the people from Manga-United.
Hi everyone. We are wondering if you are up for a short manga challenge? We propose that you draw a short 10 page manga promo for a brand new Military based manga. Any type of military it doesn't just have to involve guns it can be medieval times based or other. We have not had any challenges or contest in quite sometime and we want to get back to our roots with this page. More details to come soon. Please let us know your thoughts about this challenge. Thanks and we look forward to hearing from all that would like to participate.
Hello everyone. Well as founder of this group i'd like to discuss somethings. The original intention of this group was wonderful. The core reason for starting this group was to see artist and writers ban together and do short manga projects and see who's work was closest to the real thing mainstream wise.

Also members would work together and learn from each other. We originally were hosting contest.
I would like to get back to that.

I know, I get it everyone has a life and is busy with school etc... But let's take time out to be creative and push our limits. I want to see who has the next big manga comic. I'd love to witness that. And even if you don't I'd love to help those wanting that to prosper into developing work that others would enjoy. Now this may sound or seem far fetched. But my intentions was not to let this group go down.

And I want to apologize to you all for the lack of contest and updates for this group. Recently, I've had some stints with my health and so now i'm on medical leave from my job. So I have time to type this journal.

At any rate if any of you members ones who have been here for awhile or those of you who are new would like to make any suggestions. Then please feel free to do so in this journal.

I will be sure to speak with our contributor :iconnsio: and try to see how busy he is. But will definitely discuss bring back the contest for this group.

I look forward to seeing what you all have to say and thanks for being apart of this group. Again sorry for the lack of updates.
Hi I'm not sure how to embed this video. But it's important to know what the top selling manga's are for various reasons. Basically it speaks volumes to what people enjoy or like in a series mainly I'd say story wise. For example One Piece has been #1 on the top manga selling list for a few years now.

The art is not over the top amazing. However the story and characters leave an extreme impact on its audience.  If you were to have a manga series crack 100 sales that's a breakthrough as an independent creator. However could you imagine breaking into the million sales mark for your manga? This is something to think about people.

I mean seriously. And its why I'm so hard on people especially artists. See my goal is not to have some run of the mill project but rather something that fans, readers or an audience can hold on to. YOU HAVE TO CAPTIVATE THE READERS!

IF THERE'S NOTHING FOR THEM TO HOLD ONTO STORY WISE THEN THEY WON'T CARE! I push this agenda because it needs to be understood.
And this top selling manga list is the main reason why people should take heed and listen to what's hot and what's not.  Imagine that you just made the top 30 best selling manga list. What would you do? Do you even want to make the top selling manga list?

At any rate this video spoke volumes to me. And it let me know no matter how many people quit, I have to keep going because their goals are not my goals. And I know what it takes to get somewhere close to the quality of a decent manga story to a top manga story. And I have enough faith in myself to know that hey if those creators that make the top selling manga list could do it. Then why can't I do it? What makes me any different from them other than me not having a full out artist team. And basically that's all that's missing really.

Any way with out further ado here's the video
